My painting representation of the statue ‘Järnpojke’ (english translation: ‘Iron boy’) located in Stockholm, sculpted by artist Liss Eriksson.
Recently did this acrylic painting sketch of one of my favorite statues in Sweden. This was only meant to be a destressing exercise, but I ended up really liking the style by the time I was done. Painting with blue and white shades is very comforting and I liked how this color palette helped highlight the innocence and isolation that I find in this little sculpture.
